Relative newcomers Mitzi have hit the ground running following successes in their respective bands BMX, Comic Sans, Charlie Why! and The Gallery Kiss.

In what at first seemed an unusual collaboration, Dominiqe Bird, Jad Lee, Charles Murdoch and Cale Suesskow have brought their own unique traits to the table to develop their instantly recognisable sound. Syncopated guitar and dulcet bass grooves intertwined with classic disco beats and an unashamed pop sensibility, smooth, laidback vocals with an analogue warmth; herein lies the Mitzi sound.

The four piece disco troupe caused a stir with their debut EP All I Heard fusing sounds of garage disco, NYC indie and the light heartedness of Australian pop into one killer record. The EP was released through Sydney label Future Classic and mixed by Jono Ma (Lost Valentinos, Tracy Thorn, Teenagers in Tokyo) at Ewan Pearson's (The Rapture, M83, Delphic, Junior Boys) studio in Berlin.

While they were being hyped as a 'buzz artist' by NME and added to the triple j playlist the boys jumped in their van to tour Australia's East Coast, also supporting the likes of Bag Raiders, Tensnake, The Swiss, Foster The People (USA), Neon Indian (USA), Little Dragon (Sweden) and Metronomy (UK), and playing Parklife and Stereosonic festivals.

Now Mitzi are back with remixes from home and away including Cassian, Softwar, Joakim and LTJ which are being released as a three part series. They are available exclusively on wax and limited to only 350 pressings.
